What you’ll do 

TouchMath has an immediate opening for an RFP & Bid Coordinator to respond to and manage bids and requests for proposals in our sales department. As the RFP & Bid coordinator, you will increase TouchMath’s national presence in bids and contracts by overseeing the development of proposals, bids, and quotations. You will directly respond to RFP’s or by completing the required forms and documents describing our products and services for prospective clients. This position will work closely with our sales representatives and will report to the Director of Sales.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Work with key team members to obtain the information required to compile the bid and respond to clients’ and other stakeholders’ queries before, during and after the bid has been submitted. 
  • Conduct research and brainstorm key points to include in the bid. 
  • Monitor subscription sites and identify opportunities on which to submit bids and feed into the decision over whether to bid for the work. 
  • Devise a successful strategy for winning bids, including pinpointing the unique selling points (key differentiators) of TouchMath, understanding the clients’ specific requirements. 
  • Crafting persuasive and detailed proposals, ensuring all deadlines are met. 
  • Streamline bid tracking, and ensure all records are succinct and accurately maintained on both SharePoint and in Salesforce. 
  • Registers and completes all vendor documents necessary for purchasing eligibility to include but not limited to: W-9, Sole Source, Certificate of Insurance and other business documents as requested. 
  • Monitor current vendor list and renewal calendar, and complete registration renewals as needed to maintain current vendor status with customers. 
  • Contract review for terms and conditions of services being purchased. Be familiar with contract terms and advise management on major items such as, student data privacy agreements from state to state, consultant agreement requirements and Certificates of Insurance. 

 

Desired Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Experience teaching or working in classrooms with Special Education students a plus. 
  • Experience grant writing or complex bids 

Additional Skills 

  • Must have ability to use good judgment. 
  • Excellent presentation and written communication skills 
  • Familiarity with legal jargon  
  • Ability to interact effectively with all employees. 
  • Excellent time management with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work. 
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. 
  • Proficient in MS Office

Job Type: Full-time 

 

Pay: $40,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
